The Spahr Center invites Marin’s LGBTQ community and allies to a Pride Picnic on Saturday, June 17, 2017 from 11:30 am to 2:00 pm at the Marin Civic Center Lagoon Park. The picnic will be a fun, family focused event; bring a blanket and a picnic lunch and enjoy live music, popcorn and treats for kids! Special guests include Jane Spahr, the agency’s founder and The Rev. Floyd Thompkins, Director of Center for Innovation in Ministry at the San Francisco Theological Seminary in San Anselmo. They will be joined by the president of Marin’s ACLU Chapter and local public officials. The event is co-sponsored by The Microsoft Store at the Village at Corte Madera. There is no admission fee for the picnic; tickets to purchase popcorn and cotton candy will be available for purchase on site.
