Join us in Tamalpais Hall for a conversation with noted author, speaker and psychotherapist David Richo. David works in Santa Barbara and San Francisco. He combines Jungian, poetic, and mythic perspectives in his work with the intention of integrating the psychological and the spiritual. Richo’s books and workshops include attention to Buddhist and Christian spiritual practices.

He will be talking about his latest book, The Five Longings: What We’ve Always Wanted and Already Have. In this work, David argues that we all long for love, meaning, freedom, happiness, and growth. These five longings never seem perfectly or finally fulfilled. We can still ask for some fulfillment of our longings from those we trust. Soon we discover all five as qualities in our true nature. We are seeking what we really are. Our longings reveal the depths in ourselves.
