Do you want to influence policy, but are concerned about protecting your faith group's nonprofit status?

Join us for a free Advocacy Training for
Faith-Based Nonprofits on November 16th!

The Collaborative is proud to bring the top legal experts on nonprofit advocacy to the North Bay for a Bolder Advocacy Workshop for Faith-Based Nonprofits. This is a unique opportunity to learn about your rights
to influence food & farm policy
as a 501(c)3 nonprofit faith group.

With ballot measures and state and local elections coming in 2018, now is the time to plan issue and candidate forums, make endorsements, and join grassroots campaigns. This training positions faith-based groups and organizations to feel confident in taking action on crucial upcoming campaigns and policies. The training will include both practical information to guide your decisions about advocacy for years to come as well as timely information about current advocacy opportunities for your congregation over the coming months.

Advocate for a more just Farm Bill!In this politically turbulent time, it is more important than ever for congregations to advocate for policies that support affordable food access and the farmers that feed us. Funding for essential programs, such as food assistance to seniors, are threatened by recent proposals in Washington. Anticipated state and local measures could provide increased funding for local food access.
