PARENTING FROM THE INSIDE OUT

In this interactive workshop, we will explore the basic templates for creating a strong and resilient bond with our child throughout their childhood and into adolescence.  Beginning with an understanding of our own beliefs, values and dreams for our child, we will consider:

* What kind of parenting does my particular child need?

*How do I navigate the differences between all the competing needs in the family?

*What resources do I have that I can make better use of?

The group will meet for 5 sessions, for an hour-and-a-half each meeting.  Participants will come away with a deeper appreciation for their children and themseles, and with tools for continually adjusting to the changing needs of the family as it grows.

This group will be facilitated by Laura H. Schwartz, LCSW, who has been in clinical practice for over twenty-five years, working with families, couples, adolescents and individuals to strengthen families and support individual exploration and growth. Laura practices at the Interfaith Counseling Center in San Anselmo.
