This workshop offers an introduction to homeownership and affordable housing programs by community experts. Workshop topics include: introduction to homeownership, how to avoid predatory loans, BMR (Below Market Rate) programs and other affordable homeownership opportunities available in Marin and neighboring counties. Guest speakers include representatives from Fair Housing Advocates of Northern California, Hello Housing, Marin Housing Authority, Northbay Family Homes, SparkPoint Marin, and Burbank Housing. This workshop does not provide a HUD certificate and is for informational purposes only.
