Office Assistant & Community Liaison Position - First Presbyterian, San Rafael
First Presbyterian Church of San Rafael is currently seeking a part-time Office Assistant for 20 hours per week, including Sunday mornings. This is an entry-level position that involves many detailed tasks and extensive training will be provided.
Church office (15 hours per week) – answer phone calls, greet visitors, email, filing, interact with congregation and building tenants, work with church staff, and other tasks as assigned by Office Administrator and Pastor
Sunday Services Worship Prep and Tech (5 hours per week) - set up and run audio/visual equipment (microphones, projector, laptop), lock and unlock doors, run PowerPoint presentations, and work with hospitality team (coffee, etc).
