Widening Marin's Circle of Good Neighbors

Since 1982, the Marin Interfaith Council has been a trusted convener, seeding new collaborations across Marin's diverse faith traditions, spiritual communities and caring neighbors. We create spaces where the wisdom of many generations meets the questions of our day, unexpected relationships grow, and we imagine and work together for a Marin where all can flourish.

WHY GIVE

Your gift keeps Marin connected across our differences

MIC is a hub for interreligious, spiritual and cross-cultural bridge-building, civic dialogue and joint community action. In a season of division, the relationships and formative practices MIC nurtures help neighbors of every generation find the care and courage to meet hard moments together.

This fall MIC welcomed a new Executive Director, Reuben Shank, and we are preparing new initiatives for 2027:

  • Gathering Marin's congregations, organizations and neighbors across faiths and generations, building the trust that lets us call on one another in hard times and new beginnings

  • Forming young leaders and intergenerational teams who together turn difference into possibility, rooted in the best of religious, spiritual and ancestral wisdom and of modern science

  • Accompanying neighbors with care through hardship, and acting together for the common good of Marin's people, lands, waters and living creatures

Your gift supports MIC's work where it is most needed, unless you choose a specific purpose.
