About the event

What to Expect:

  • An Interactive Food Hall Experience: Instead of a traditional sit-and-listen presentation, we are hosting this event in the Food Hall so you can enjoy a meal, listen to speakers, and actively participate in lively table discussions.

  • Intergenerational Perspectives: This years format includes two movements

First, younger voices will share why their tradition, religion or spirituality matters to them, and what courage it asks of them and gives them.

Then more elder voices will speak to why interfaith matters: how courageous relationships across traditions have made a difference, and what we can do together that we could not do alone.

After each, we will continue the conversation around our tables — each named for one of Marin's watersheds, while enjoying a shared vegetarian meal and a variety of drinks to honor our diverse religious and personal food practices. Hear brief, inspiring reflections from both youth and elder visionaries, then dive straight into conversation at your table (each named after one of Marin's watersheds).

  • A Shared Community Meal: Enjoy a delicious vegetarian supper with drinks thoughtfully chosen to respect diverse religious and dietary traditions.

  • Welcoming to All Ages: Scheduled for Sunday evening so busy families and community members of all generations—from teens to grandparents—can attend together!

Fuel Our Mission:

As our main fall fundraiser, your attendance and support directly power MIC’s interfaith programs, youth bridge-building, and community initiatives for the year ahead. We encourage everyone to give as generously as they can to help us reach our goal. If you are interested in Event Sponsorship (not listed on our ticketing page), please contact our Executive Director Reuben Shank (director@marinifc.org).

Bring your family, invite your friends, and pull up a chair to help shape the future of interfaith life in Marin!
