About the event
The Rev. Michael Carney Bio
The Rev. Michael Carney retired in 2024 after twenty-five years as an Episcopal parish priest. After serving with a diverse congregation in the East Bay and also in Denver, Michael spent eight years as a Vicar with congregations on the Uintah and Ouray Ute Reservation in northeast Utah. During that time, he and Ute Elder Forrest Cuch wrote A Native Way of Giving, focusing on gratitude as a foundation of spirituality. Michael now lives in Grass Valley, California with members of his family.
