About the event
The Marin Interfaith Council and the Presbytery of the Redwoods will share information and answer questions about how we can help the neighbors in our midst who are the most vulnerable. Some of the items that will be addressed are:
- In the midst of so much anti-immigrant rhetoric and action, how can we as congregations respond?
- What are the rights of those who are not citizens?
- What does it mean to be a sanctuary space for those who need it?
- How do current governmental actions and statements affect our places of worship?
Please join us for this online event, and bring questions if you have them. If we cannot answer them, we will provide answers afterwards. The Rev. Lynn Oldham Robinett is the Interim Executive Director of the Marin Interfaith Council, and the Rev. Eric Beene is the General Presbyter of the Presbytery of the Redwoods…
