On May 7, over 200 people attended MIC’s 26th Annual Interfaith Prayer Breakfast at Congregation Kol Shofar. Mario Castillo from Buckelew Programs spoke about the 988 Suicide Prevention Hotline and then opened with a prayer.
Our main speakers, Bob Rees (the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints), Sherna Deamer (San Rafael Baha’i’s), and Rev. Floyd Thompkins (St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Marin City), shared their personal and faith reflections on the quote, “Tell me the story of your survival, not the death of your dreams…”
Much gratitude to our speakers, volunteers, attendees, those who purchased tables, and Congregation Kol Shofar for hosting us and catering the breakfast.
