Barbara will offer a guided meditation that springs from Dr. Ed Bastion’s Interspiritual Meditation, a seven-step process drawn from the world’s spiritual traditions.
Bio: Rev. Barbara Buckley is a retired clinical social worker and current spiritual director/companion, trained through the Spiritual Guidance Training Institute (SGTI).
Barbara left her childhood religion decades ago but has held to the gifts of that tradition through her relationship with her godmother, now 97 years old and more than 75 years a Sister of the Sacred Heart of Mary.
Seeking a broader path to the divine through trial and error and ultimately through her SGTI training, she claimed her calling as a spiritually fluid person.
Her primary practices and guides come from Buddhism, Judaisim, earth based practices and her participation in CCC of Tiburon.
She offers individual and group spiritual direction, leads contemplative practices through CCC, and, along with her wife Barb, has been a keeper of quarterly Equinox and Solstice gatherings for over a decade.
Barbara can be reached at spirituallyfluid19@gmail.com.
